  The Consulate of Ukraine was officially inaugurated on the 24th September 1997 by H.E. Anatoly K. Orel, the then Ambassador for Ukraine to Malta.
The Consulate is headed by Mr. John Debono as Honorary Consul. (left)

The Consulate observes all legal holidays of Ukraine:
- January 1 and 7 (New Year and Orthodox Christmas)
- March 8 (International Women’s Day)
- Orthodox Easter (dates vary)
- May 1-2 & 9 (Labour Day, Victory Day)
- June 28 (Adoption of Constitution)
- August 24 (Independence Day
